Looking for a cheap window maker or supplier. We are looking to replace all the windows (about 30 wood frame single hung) out of a 1920's house for vinyl, single hung. Got a quote for $100 window + $50 for install. In the end we aren't looking for anything fancy just something serviceable.

Are you indicating that you're trying to pay less than $150 for installed windows?! Dude, that is serious bargain basement, there ain't no cheaper window than that.
Don't bother looking for a cabinet maker if that's your budget and those are your standards. You'll just be wasting their time. (I'm carpenter who specializes in custom cabinetry, btw)

We got 37 vinyl windows for $3500 not inc installation. Single hung, double glazed.
55' linear feet of painted cabinets for $8k installed.
