Hi,
I will be in Seattle for the month of July and would like to take a good course of 3d studio max(autodesk) and/or photography. Does anyone have any good suggestions?
I second achensch's suggestion, pick-up Rhino instead. Way more versatile and easy to use and you can fight the man. After you know it, you can get into grasshopper, export your models for fabrication, do 2d drawings. It's just a much more powerful tool.
You can learn to navigate and render in max with some trial and error or the standard book that autocad releases each year.

you'll take the rhino course instead; brag to your buddies that you're no longer a supporter of corporate hegemony
do it
