ive been running windows 7 RC (beta version) for the last few months and the I have to install the full version in the next few days coz its going to expire...does anyone know if i can just go ahead and install it from the beta version,,,or do i need to reinstall vista before making the transition to 7.

i was able to do a clean install with the upgrade version. No need to reinstall windows vista.
