My portfolio is designed with a full spread (2 8.5 by 11 pages side by sides like this: ██ to make 11x17 full spread) in mind so some images engage both pages. I was wondering if it was better to submit my digital portfolio as single 11x17 pages to make sure they are viewed properly or if it's fine to submit a pdf in the ██ way. I kept in mind the page cut and so it doesn't look as nice as one big sheet. When saving my pdf I change the preferences so that it is viewed full spread + cover. Is there any possibility that something might go awry?
I don't know how strict they are with digital portfolios but page size doesn't matter too much on a screen or display. Most programs have the book-view option to display two A4/letter pages as a spread and a full 11x17 sheet simply fills as best it can. If they're on some tablet, then simply rotate the screen and that's done. Since the height is the same, both will show about the same level of detail from afar (assuming both in horizontal widescreen orientation) and only display a part of the whole picture when zoomed.
I can't think of any scenario that'll cause a problem unless they stubbornly adhere to a vertical orientation and absolutely refuse to zoom in or tweak some setting (facing versus book-view changes up the order by one page). Or read it on a small e-ink Kindle.

Hello all,

Thanks all!
Good night, and good luck
