I am attempting to find a way to create a 3D PDF.
example of 3PDF: ftp://ftp2.bentley.com/dist/collateral/Web/flyover_dtm.pdf
Currently I have Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.0. Do I need a different piece of software to create a 3D PDF?
And, of important note: I'd like to create the PDF from a model created in SketchUp Pro.
I did a bit of searching online and came up with this: http://wiki.renderplus.com/index.php?title=RPS_3D_PDF
I downloaded the zip file and when I attempted to Install, I got this message: "RegDBCreateKeyEx Location failed."
I know this is very specific - but any jump-off/first start advice would be helpful.
open your sketchup model in Rhino it opens that format and do a print screen then paste that into a new Acrobat doc?
Depending on your version of Acrobat 3D it may be possible to use the "Print Screen" function of Windows to bring models from Rhino4 to Acrobat 3D directly. Texture assignments will stay intact after transfer.
