white fabric on ceiling how to do you know how?

alright, i'm not going to act like i know what im talking about. but i'm interested in tracing/stretching white fabric over a high brown ceiling to trap/reflect light. anyone have seen projects/installations related to what i am trying to describe. please drop a line. thanks

What kind of ventilation system are you using? White fabric can get pretty dirty, hard to clean?...

two possibilities:

check out the ceiling details from the Cy Twombly gallery in Houston, by R. Piano, which uses a fairly nice scrim ceiling, letting the light through.

also, check on another material - Barrisol, which is a plastic, stretch material used for ceilings (and walls). it can be translucent and be lit from behind to give a luminous lighting to a space.
