Is there anyone accepted to top MArch schools despite late materials submission?

candive

Hello,

I applied for Ivy League MArch schools.

Although I have submitted application, portfolio before the deadline, I found that TOEFL, GRE  scores was delivered to schools later than the deadline.

And also some official transcripts was sent to some schools by fedex later than the deadline.

Will this affect my admission? Will be there any disadvantage? Or will my application not be reviewed? I am so worried.

Is there anyone who had been admitted despite late submission of materials such as test score or official transcripts?

Did you phone and ask the admissions offices? They'll normally be ok with it if it's something that's not under your control anyway, and some (many) schools only need to receive the GRE scores because their guidelines tell them they must, so they can be extra lenient on that in my experience

As far as I known, most of the schools accept late material except UCLA

My portfolio was 3 days late to Yale and they didn't mind.

Most schools need the application itself and the portfolio by the due date. Supplemental materials can take a little longer. That's why many deadlines are dec 15 or jan 15. No one is checking that stuff over holidays while people are traveling. They allot time for FedEx and the USPS to make delivery times. If there was an issue you would know. I had a prof that didn't submit a letter of recommendation on time (a month late) and a school emailed me to tell me that if they didn't receive it within 7 days they would disqualify me. Good luck!
