image issue with acad 2007

eastcoastarch03

my entire firm (even the so called autocad expert) seem to have an issue with printing images in AutoCAD 2007. we've tried changing imageframe settings, layers, etc., but still can't figure out why none of our images will plot out. it's a pain to have to open up acad 2004 to plot a sheet with an image on it...

anyone else have this issue? or maybe even a resolution?

thank you for any replies.

Eastcoatarch03: I think it might have something with the rating of the images.....No XXX Rated material allowed....AutoDesk is a family oriented company.

I don't know about 2007 as 2006 is the latest that I've worked in - but in previous releases you can't place a pdf within an AutoCAD file as a raster image. If you are using pdf's maybe Autocad will allow you to view them now...but it may not let you print them? I'd try converting the images to .jpg and see what happens.

thank you. they were pasted in after being copied from a pdf source. so i just saved the site plans as jpg's and x-reffed them in. perfect.
