I am applying to graduate school and have pretty much finished my portfolio. My B.A. is in history but I do have some architecture projects in my portfolio. I've been having a hard time finding examples of other non-arch-background portfolios.
Anyway, do I need to include a brief resume/bio on the first or second page? Or will this information be redundant?
bio in portfolio

Redundant. Put that in your personal statement.
Agreed: redundant. Your cover letter/ personal statement is the place for your story.
