I need to know how to use x ref on autocad quickly, please.
Is that the same as a block? or a dynamic block? Can I explode it? Can I select different layers? Can I copy it in one file and paste it another?
it's a base drawing that you import into another drawing.
it's not a block. whatever you do don't explode it. you can turn on and off layers. i don't think you can copy it into other files.
typically you just xref it into each file.
