InDesin OVERSET TEXT WTF???

Please help...;;;;;

I m copying just simple "one word" text from one page to another but then once i drag the text over a picture it doesn't show up anymore and it says overset text when I want to export to pdf.
this sucks and i don t understand it works on some pages in the doc....

can you copy to the clipboard and then paste from it??

yes that s what i did i copy paste, retyping doesn't help it just seems that i can not put text over images anymore even though it worked before and is still sitting there on other pages This just belongs in a brandnew F*** thread!::

I think you have the text box set to flow around images.

your text box is not big enough for the text you entered. From your description, this may be a result of you having textwrap turned on for an image and then trying to put text over it. Or you may simply have accidentally resized the text window to something miniscule.
