I am and have been searching for architectural drawings related to the elevated railroads in Manhattan; most especially, the drawings for the stations. I have searched high and low and I have found a few drawings at the NY Historical Society and a a few others at websites dedicated to NYC Subway history. In all of my searching, I could find only one station drawing for the Sixth Avenue El and I was glad to see that one, at least, because the Six Avenue El ststions were designed by Jasper Cropsey!
I hope that someone can direct me to the architectural or engineering drawings; any of the elevated lines will do: The Third, Second, Sixth or Ninth Avenue Els.
