Ever since the age of three or four, i've always dream of becoming an architect.  Thorugh out the course of my life, i learned many things about architecture and i still haven't given up. Hello, my name is Sean, andi'm going to be a high school senior in a matter of days,

Some Facts that may help me?

  • I was born and raised in Taiwan, and i moved in 6th grade.
  • I was told recently/diagnosed of dysthymia by my college consultant who graduated from Yale with a Bach in psychology. He said this could explain my grade...

Please take a look at my questions and help me decide on which college to apply to. Thank you guys very much!

My Statistics:

First of all, I had been a  terrible student, and i'm intending to do everything I can to turn things around. I know it's late, but I believe there is still hope for me.

GPA: Unweighted: 3.0 Weighted: Maybe a 3.3 weighted?

SAT: 1700 ( Going for a 2000 in October)

Portfolio: Okay/Moderate roughly 9-12 pieces

Here is the list of colleges i'm planning to apply to. Please rank the following colleges according to how you  see them. (professor, course, what you actually learn, alumini connection and how much it helps you to get a job.)  If you can, please also tell me about the current  instructor. (opinions from real people are always more helpful)

1. Syracuse

2. SCI-ARC

3.Savannah College of Art and Design

4. Pratt Institution

5. Cooper Union ( Will the entrance exam - creative be essential to my acceptance?)

5. The University of Texas at Austin

Feel free to be completely honest, as it is your opinions and will only affect me to some degree. Please also state colleges i won't be able to get it. Thanks.
