Photoshop

This might be a dumb question, but how the hell do I simply copy and paste part of an image without the pasted image offsetting??

The problem is when copy and paste specific parts out of a layer...

I was hoping there was some offset setting I'm overlooking. Sometimes its pastes right on, but most of the time its all over.... I can't figure it out.

Photoshop doesn't display the commant, and I haven't tried it, but you might try one of the following:

Ctrl + F (Paste to Front, from Illustrator)
Ctrl + Shift + Alt + V (Paste in Place, from InDesign)

worth a shot.
