Our office is considering the move to BIM software. Does anyone have any experience with both of these platforms so that we might get a fair comparison?
i haven't used revit, but i use microstation at work. i've heard a lot of bad things about about revit (even though i grew up on autocad and 3ds max so i'm partial to autodesk...) and a lot of good things about microstation.
i worked on microstation (2D and 3D not BIM) for years and now I'm on revit. Since the switch I haven't heard much about Bently Architecture or TriForma or whatever they call it these days. The firms that I worked at the were in MicroStation seem to be looking at Revit over TriForma.
Revit vs. Bentley

i've only heard great things about Revit, and only horrible things about microstation. so there.
