i'm currently working for a technological engineering company, designing a private heliport... i plan to do a master in advanced architectural design... applying to columbia, mit and parsons :O)
I, for one, would love to see an updated "What archinectors look like" thread. Many of the image links on the old thread have expired. Plus, it's really boring at work this time of year!
That thread was such a hoot. Reading back through it is hilarious, especially the parts where people couldn't figure out how to post pictures like, 6 posts in a row (cough cough le bossman).
26/boise, idaho/"architect intern" at this moment i am employed at a firm where i am working on a new high school for twin falls, idaho/that is my cat called buckminster (buttminster, bucky, bucky dome, bucks, buckwild) who jumped on my shoulders as i was taking a picture of myself./currently have a holiday cheer induced headache.
No, it's OK, Chili's thread is a more direct extension of the original, which was a precursor to this one, blah blah blah. I think they can coexist.....
And in response to this one, I don't really like to give myself away online so much except to say that I am the Cincinnati "Welcome Wagon". Between that and the picture, use your imagination!

Hah! The last time I had to Google someone's name to find out who (I) look like it was Guy Pierce. Then again, it was a different photo. In real life, someone thought I was the spitting image of some golfer (Chuck somebody, I guess) and another actor, erm, Ed Norton. That's it. In LA I was jokingly referred to as Johnny Depp by a bunch of Jocks and in Slovenia... Tom Cruise!!! (She then walked straight into a lamp-post).
In grad school, my classmates found this press photo of John Cusack on a beery bender and made photocopies of it to post everywhere round the studio building with a wee arrow with my name on it.
So, with all that celebrity, where's my pay-check, huh?

(surprisingly I am no name whore....just happen to see the interesting combo -mtl and plastic- whilst shopping for new ones at lenscrafters -- you know that giant store here in the states where you can get glasses made in under 1 hour).

i'm 28, work for a municipal government as a "senior capital projects coordinator" (aka project manager), i went to UF and GaTech...
this is me and my wife at the base of the space needle on a trip to seattle earlier this year...
