If your tooling around the city, you might want to do a drive by of the home base for Circus Delas Soleil. They have this building were you can watch people working out on the high wire...It is a great night time site.
I actually has poutine last night, at L' Anecdote, on Rue Rachel and Rue St. Hubert. Before that, I was at BÃlý Kun (a nice Francophone bar with ostrich necks projecting from the walls). There was a guy inside playing a 1930-era Weissborn lap guitar ... playing some Delta-ish blues ... in French, no less).
Allo de Montréal
That's right, I'm archinectin' from a Second Cup on the corner of Rue St. Catherine and Rue Guy, near the Concordia campus downtown.
Enjoy the cuisine and the Canadian French Ladies...
And the cold!
maybe take in the CCA on 1920 rue Baile >I think<
CCA library is not open until Wednesday ... sigh.
It's interesting seeing a Dunkin' Donuts menu in Acadian French.
love montreal, too bloody cold though, i went there in march and nearly froze to death.
check out some Saucier + Perrotte buildings. The new McGill faculty of Music building is definitely worth a look.
This is what I love about Canada, its candy bars:
