Laser Measuring Tape?

pecovat

Any of you folks know of a good laser "measurer" that's accurate up to 200 ft.?

I can't remember the one we use at work (I think its by Hilti) but...we are never able to reach a distance that far because you would have to have an incredibly stable hand.

I recommend taking a partner to help you measure and have him/her hold up a clipboard and then do it in increments…or…

Take a picture and count block…

You know, I have one simple request...and that is to have measuring tapes with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads.

I came here because the title of the thread was Laser Something Something.

I was once in a meeting with Arup in which some highly technical questions were being asked. The Arup engineer assured us they had a device that shot frickin’ lasers in every direction, and because of this there would be no problems. No one asked any further questions.

If you’re getting flak in a meeting introduce lasers into your response, the aggressors will retreat once your secret weapon is exposed.
