AutoCAD 07 or Revit Bldg9?

cayne1

Little help here. I a student, so I'm ignorant. I will be taking an AutoCAD 2007 class and I'm looking to pick up a copy so I can work at home (love those student prices). My question is...is the AutoCAD 2007 included in the Revit Building 9 the same exact AutoCAD as the stand alone? Will the function and keystrokes be the same? For the extra $100 it kinda makes sense to pick up Revit. Any insight would be appreciated.

You can get a lot of Autodesk software free now if you are a student.

Check out http://students7.autodesk.com/?nd=m_home

You can't get Autocad, but you can get Revit.

Sorry, I forgot to answer your question.... If you get Revit Series, it includes full versions of both Revit Building and Autocad. It's exactly the same Autocad that you would buy separately.

Why thank you very much. By my math that little piece if info was worth at least 581 packets of Ramen Noodles.
