Hey gang. Anyone know how to control the dithering in AutoCAD (2006)? Our issue is that we'd like gray lines and grey solid fill (Screening less than 100) to be printed as a pattern rather than grey - that way we can reproduce them without the ill effects of photocopied grey.
We are using an hp DJ 500. The Custom Properties for dithering is greyed out (no pun) and unavailable. Within CAD, the dithering option doesn't affect the drawing. And the fill type doesn't do what we want - i.e. solid black fill isn't so.
Any tips? Also, is it possible to scale AutoCAD's fill types?

not a very useful solution, but why dont you make pdf and then print from the pdf?
I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
Same results. I read about a dither scale on hp's IT Resource Center, but I have found no way to adjust it.
