3D Max Lighting HELP!!

the silent observer

So...can someone tell me if they've had this happen to them:

In 3D Max, I spent time setting up a number of lights and their individual settings. I saved the scene states, did some renders...everything was fine...except now, I am trying to go back and re-render, and the lights, THEY DON'T RENDER. I've checked their settings in the light Lister, and it shows them being on, etc. BUT, when I quick render, Nada.

Ideas? Please...need help asap. It would, of course, happen during the week I need it to work most....

Thanks in advance, for any help...

Check you exposure settings under Rendering/ Environment. If you're using standard lights your Global Lighting level should be set to 1.0 and your exposure control should be <no exposure control>.

If all else fails, merge your current scene into a new blank file. Your current file could be corrupt....
