Moving to London at the end of the week. I am wondering if any of you archnecters have any expderience shipping freight to the U.K.? the postal service is $2.- a pound for the slow rate. Anyone else have any experience with shipping boxes?
But all your books/cds/dvds together in boxes and send Media Mail. It will take forever but it will be cheapest. Beware, I've had them make me open my boxes in front of them to show that NOTHING but media was in there--not even a stuffed animal for cushioning.

That's all I know.
Just be you buy insurance on any thing you ship....lost a book signed by Oscar Niemeyer a few years back. It is bummer!
