RISD vs. Parsons dual degree (M.Arch I & Lighting Design)

fi62

Hi, All

I got into RISD, Pratt, Parsons for M.Arch I.
I went to RISD's open house and also visited Pratt and Parsons during spring break. They are all pretty nice! I have a hard time to choose between RISD and Parsons. Both of them offer me some financial help. I compared the curriculum of the two programs. It seems like the dual degree emphasizes on lighting design that may differentiate me from other M.Arch students while RISD is more well-rounded that can help me study architecture deeply. Is it possible for me to have you guys opinion on these two programs?

Thank you so much!

I heard RISD has a really good M. Arch. program. You should perhaps take a look at the RISD's website because you can find a sample of what the students are working on in grad school (and their names!). Would it be possible to see your admission portfolio?

*Well I'm pretty sure you did check out the website! I'm just saying because I was able to reach one of the students to get more info.

Please I want to see your work! :)
