working in china or dubai

blackturtleneck

Is anyone on this forum working in China or the Middle East? I was wondering whether it was worth it to go abroad to get involved with the building booms in these countries.

I just got back from Beijing... most of the work there is done by foreign architects who keep a small satellite office in the the city. If youre interested in design integrity, its not the best place to be, but there is work to be had if youre foreign-educated and the city is great.
