I'm attempting to insert a large block into a CAD file, but whenever I do so I get an error message and AutoCAD closes. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can resolve the problem?
open the block, purge it, audit it and try again.
Tried that, still no luck.
1. block within a block? 2. open the block as a file, copy, insert as another block name
open the large block, create three or four smaller blocks and insert them in the file separately
try just opening the block, ctrl c. then get to your dwg and ctrl v. sometimes this "tricks" cad...
I had to use Medit's solution. This was a little more time consuming but hey, I get paid by the hour. Very little at that.
