I have heard mixed reviews about 3ds max working on the macbook pro (licensing issues, mostly). Anyone try to install it and have problems/ no problems? if so what version?
I am just trying to decide whether or not to buy the thing, I dont want to get the computer only to find that I cant get my copy of 3D max to work!? It would be useless
well to my knowledge theres no a 3ds max version for mac unless it is new... in any case.. i recommend you a normal pc not a mac.. because you will have a wider options in programs especially regarding vector programs such as autocad - 3ds max...

sorry, maybe i forgot to mention i'd be running 3dsmax, on mac hardware, but with windows xp -boot camp
