So I just got a job in NYC and I am curious if there is some way online that I can find out how little money I am going to be bringing home with me. Any suggestions?
become self employed and you'll like it alot more.... you can write off most of the stuff you would normally spend for work related items..
car expense
gas/oil
pencils
laptop
printer
etc......
only thing to remeber is if you go that route, have a separate account for taxes and put about 35% in there...... this way you cant blow it and even though you'll prolly fall in the 10-17% tax range or so, you'll have some spending money later after you claim
