This is an invitation to everyone who submitted a project to the High Density on the High Ground competition. Neworleansvisions.com is offering a place in its online galleries to every entrant who wants to present work done for this historic competition.

For our team, HDHG's challenges stimulated weeks of productive debate and creative thinking, and we suspect that was true around the world. Inspired by European models, we thought it could be interesting to build a website devoted to the diverse conclusions entrants reached for bringing density to New Orleans' high ground.

We're grateful to Arch Record and Tulane for a beautifully conceived brief and a competition experience we'll always remember. No galleries will go online till after the official winners announcement and the publication of the June Arch Record.

In the meantime, we're collecting projects, and if you'd like to submit, please point your browser to www.neworleansvisions.com You'll find specifications and instructions for file submissions, which shouldn't be too taxing. The only new material we're hoping for is a retouched interior perspective, to include drawings or photos of you and your teammates.
