I exported my license via the PLU (via file) from my primary PC to my laptop and then the laptop's hard drive died before I could reinstall the license. Now I can't cancel the license transfer, and I'm in autodesk limbo. I vaguely recall that customer support (back when I was entitled to use it) once gave me a technique for canceling a license transfer, but I can't remember it.
OK.. been two days.. still no reply to my forum postings and no response from calls to customer service. I officially pronounce Autodesk to be a monstrous racket... the Microsoft of our industry. At least the labs here have acad and the people with whom I share a work area probably are happy not to see my face...
