I downloaded the add on but It is not showing up in archicad under the list of add ons. I need to take my model from sketchup to archicad so I can get elevations. So if you know how to do this please help.
did you place the add-on in the "Add-Ons" folder in your "ArchiCAD (x)" folder?
we have the add-on which consists of a folder called "SketchUp" containing three files. This SketchUp folder is in the "Add-Ons" folder.
also, note that it will not be an item which shows up in your Tools menu in the Add-Ons section in ArchiCAD. the add-on shows up when you use the "File/Open.." command. at the top of the "Open file" dialog box, click on the drop-down next to"Enable". at the very bottom of the drop down will be "SKP File". selecting this option allows you to open a Sketch-Up file. i haven't used it much, so I don't know if you can actually import 3-D info. perhaps it's only 2-D info.
