Torn between 2 programs (Grad school)

c1024

Currently a junior pursuing an Urban Studies degree (closest thing to Architecture my university offers).

I'm interested in interior architecture more so than any other kind. I'm looking at UCLA's M.Arch I vs. Cal Poly Pomona's M. Interior Arch.

I don't believe I have enough merit to be accepted into UCLA's program which is why I am considering taking their Summer Jumpstart program this upcoming summer as a way to build my portfolio and get rec letters.

Cal Poly's program is combined with UCLA's extension. Seems fairly easy to get in considering that they require you to take 6 quarters of prereq courses offered through UCLA's extension in Westwood.

I guess my ultimate question would be what type of degree will provide me with more options: the standard M. Arch or the specific M. Interior Arch.

Thanks!
