birds eye-view architecture

Ok, so I find myself working on this apartment building... three storeys high, situated in an area consisting almost solely of significantly taller buildings.
This of course means that the apartment building will be seen from the above alot, and has in it's turn lead to yours truly becoming more or less obsessed with the idea of designing the most perfect roof/'top of building' ever.

My question is of course - any suggestions where to look for a little bit of inspiration?

...and don't come here and try to be cute with photos of pagodas and thai temples!

hehe

the new MOMA includes a fake "garden" on part of its roof...i believe that it was conceived as a piece of art that was ment to be viewed from the adjacent taller buildings
