ok, i am f***'n tired of luging around my 25 lb dell and even with a 2.3 processor, it fired it last term[the processor got so hot with the programs i am running!!] and luckily i got it up and going again -- but i emphasis the word LUCK.
but looking at going REALLY portable as i carry my laptop back and forth to school -- so looking at thin, light, REAL notebooks[2-3 lbs].
[i cant ride my folding bike to school as the dell does some funny things to my center of gravity]
i will keep my dell at home as its not a happy camper flying 'round the world -- its got a 2.5 processer and at 3 y.o. it still is great otherwise --
--anyone use a tablet for taking notes? happy or not?
--i can buy a used ibm x41 [not a tablet] for about 900 usd used. 1.5 processer [low temp] i will upgrad it to 1.5 ram, 128 video card, xp pro -- i think great value -- comments?
thanks.
