the amount of time i have spent looking for this image, i could have built a model myself.... i am looking for an image of an ito concept model for the taichung opera house, it is a hand size model of 2 planes with a membrane (might be colored pink) stretched between it at offset points, resulting in an egg crate surface like the one attached.
but the ito model is really nice, would appreciate any help. thanks b

this is the result of the fastest search ever: ito + taichung
What you've done in your image isn't the same - if you google "minimal + surface + architecture" you'll find numerous tutorials.
This is a blog that writes intelligently about why these surfaces are problematic as architecture: http://spacesymmetrystructure.wordpress.com/2009/02/06/rheotomic-surfaces/
