illustrator to flash

bigness

Hi!
how can I import my illustrator layouts in flash to make a presentation?
eps seem the best option, yet hals of the files are missing pictures and text.

I tried with swf files exported from illustrator, but all the fonts go crazy...

help! I have wasted 3 hours of my precious all nighter on this!

Hey man. Get your Illustrator stuff just how you like it and then Export it to a JPG. Then, when you're in Flash you can import the file into your library for later use.

I would scan or save at as high a resolution as you can. the more the better!

I would say the projector's resolution, which is most likely 1024 X 768. This sounds low, but trust me on this.

Sorry. Your images should be the same as the projector's resolution, which is 1024 X 768. It will look crystal clear as it is a projected image and not a print out which requires a higher resolution.

i was a little bit optimistic and made a layout at 1280 x 550, so i guess i'll have to fit it to screen while i'm presenting. I knew about the projector resolution all along, so i could have worked that out by myself...thanks folks!

So what are you asking here? 1024 X 768 is the same whether 72 dpi or 600 dpi.

yeah, I know! i just meant to say that when i was asking the question in the first place i wasn't thinking!

anyways, I found that the "export to swf" works just fine, you just have to set the right font type. and the lines stay vectors so they look much better than if they were rasterized in a jpeg

thanks for the help anyway!
