I have to come up with a list of theatre projects to present to the class and i was hoping that you guys would be very helpful.
It would help if your suggestions focused on theatres that have interesting steel structure......i know it sounds stupid but tha's what the professor wants
do your homework yourself. go to the library. use google. don't become another peter keating type. if you can't even find precedents on your own, how do you think you'll be able to design a whole building without asking us for help?
first of all, being able to find a set of stupid ass precedents does not imply anything about by design skills or my ability to research different topics.
I was just running out of time and i was hoping that someone would be willing to point out some interesting projects.
According to me this website is all about the exchange of information and knowledge in architecture.
so bryan stop being an a**hole youre probly jus pissed off cuz you dont know any interesting precedents.
"first of all, being able to find a set of stupid ass precedents does not imply anything about by design skills or my ability to research different topics."
actually. it does imply something about your ability to research. it shows that you dont really do it. you just post on a gossip chat board and hope someone else gives you this list... part of researching to find a list of anything isnt just to fulfill the 5 bldgs youre supposed to find, but to also find other related examples and being to see the expansiveness of the world of architecture.
so. go to the library.. google isnt the best way to find things for architecture class.
lol Pixelwhore... I guess I didn't read that statement closely enough...
I mean, according to me this website is about how everyone should worship the ground I walk on... but like you said, I'm not sure I can really say that...

ZING!
Coop Himmelb(l)au did a cool movie theater in Dresden (I think it's in dresden...)
Saucier + Perrotte also had a pretty cool movie theater and looking at their site, they have some theater theater projects as well.

Did anyone else find the humor in this statement? I always though Paul was the only person that could say something like that.
