what are the most fun websites...
say your bored or tired or just done feel like working...
what websites do you go to... to read things, play games, look at things... anything...
lletdownl- I meant the college football season. The only Trojan I've seen play so far was Manny Wright, last night, but I'm so disgusted with him right now... he could've been great, but he didn't feel like going to class. Then he's lucky enough to be drafted anyways, and shows up to workouts completely out of shape, and then he CRIES for godsakes! There's no crying in football. Can't wait to see BMW take the field with the Lions, though.
raionalist... poor manny wright... im serious about that kid... yeah, he was out of shape... but i still feel bad for him... he might not make it... and then whats he gonna do... be a prison guard? oh well
the bears are the best... i love them with the whole rest of my heart that doesnt belong to the whitesox
I don't feel bad for him at all. This is how he was in college too- all the potential in the world, but couldn't make it to the field because he wasn't willing to work. He just really disappointed a lot of fans.
Tell me you mean the Chicago Bears, not the Cal Bears, right? Please?
To name a few of the sites that have become my morning routine and that I check every few hours throughout the day. Pretty much anything that updates regularly every few hours. It should be mentioned that I'm self-employed so it's not like I'm in danger of getting fired for 8 hours of surfing a day.
Sometimes when I'm on the web late and feel too wired to go to sleep right away I'll spend a little time at legato because, I find it, well, soothing and lovely.
wait, ether, did I do the link right? There's nothing creepy about what I meant - beautiful string music, 3 figures in a field of fog, you grab one and they dance...? OK yeah, the other stuff on the site is kinda creepy...
WonderK! I was just trying to find Heliocopter in my long-lost emails - Thanks A Lot. You're now responsible for even less productivity down here! BTW, I think I got around 1800 once, as well.
legato is great - the 'more' button ((ether: yeah. the "more" button at the bottom. *shivers*) - so funny, "no 'more'!!! - please god make it go away") does bring you into what I like to call the nightmare zone but it's well done - check out nocturne
this week i have been researching henry darger as my distraction....

This is my first time doing it. This site is fun! Check it out.

BTW, loved batting the peguin. Highest score: 321.
I sucked at drive a Helicopter. Need to hone in my x-box skills (a bit rusty)
i would never bat a penguin.
WonderK! I was just trying to find Heliocopter in my long-lost emails - Thanks A Lot. You're now responsible for even less productivity down here! BTW, I think I got around 1800 once, as well.
actually i batted the penguin but only hit it 302ft. so i was fakin like i wouldnt
I specialize in hyperbole.
i love legato! thanks lb!
oops. just go to metafilter.com. don't click on that link.
Hey, no problem MysteryMan. I can't tell you how many chunks of time have been spent on "office admin"/batting penguins in my neck of the woods.
And I'm terrible at the Helicopter but I was never good at video games.
Why is it that I can bat a penguin but I feel bad clubbing a seal?
Perhaps because the clubbing a seal game seems to wallow in brutality.
Another great time waster is Alien Hominid, which became such a popular flash game that it was later converted to Playstation.

just keep clicking on the image...
out of all the games i have stumbled across this is the best - http://www.pieinacan.us/crash.swf

forget what I just said - cool french graphics can't compete with anime lunacy
I don't feel so bad about Archinecting today, as my employers are embroiled in discussions about Fantasy Football :D.
I'm glad there are so many postings of games because I'm getting kinda bored w/ all the porn sites that 'distract' me.

stephanie: I guess you have already seen this on Henry Darger. John MacGregor and I are penpals.
woah! yeah, i read about the film, but you are pen pals with "the foremost darger scholar" that's really impressive.
He's a Canadian, too, presently lives in SF, was born in Montréal. We almost met in London in Nov. 2000 but, alas, it was not to be. So we write: have been since 1992. Quite apart from being a brilliant, original scholar and expert in Outsider Art, he is also just a very nice man.
