any good examples of architecture (or other 3D design, interior, product...) that use graphics nicely, either for information, navigation or pure decoration?
so there aren't any?? for example REM uses graphics nicely on interior glass walls in his recent IIT building. FOA use simple signage applied to the surfaces of their yokohama port building. i am looking for examples of a similar nature, can anyone think of any?
actually did the graphics at IIT. I got this book which has some pretty good japanese projects. Paula Scher of pentagram got quite a bit of press for wrapping buildings in text. (I'm not personally a fan, but I've read several positive reviews.) I agree with the Herzog and de Meuron recommendation; they do a nice job with graphics generally.
