I am an architect student going to start my first semester at NYIT. I know that we need to have auto cad on our computers. However, I own a mac. I was wondering if i needed to buy a new pc just to be able use cad??
You can install windows on your mac, and use autocad.

no. it installs windows separate from your osx installation.
Autodesk came out with a mac version of AutoCAD a few months ago...
I've played around with it. It's pretty crappy, they left out some features and windows/ tools are in weird inconvenient places. But it works...
