Classes for Portfolio

Hello, I know I have asked similar questions in the past, and I appreciate all the answers. I t is my hope that the answers to these questions will be useful to others in a similar position. My questions is: what classes I should spend my time and money on as I work on my portfolio this semester. I have enough money saved to take two classes.

At first I was going to take drawing 1 and a metal/wood class. Now I am debating between taking Drawing 1 and a digital design class. It's frustrating to not know adobe suite when pretty much everyone uses adobe for their portfolio. Despite taking an intro class four years ago in InDesign, I am still pretty much a beginner. I didn't show up as much as I should have, and don't think I have the capability to put together a nice portfolio without a stronger foundation. Do a lot of people become fully functional at this on their own, or is it best to take a class?

Thank you.
