The Contest will commence on August 2nd, 2011 and end on August 31st at 11:59:59 pm (IST) 2011. The theme of this competition is "Sketchup ur Space".
Send your SketchUp drawings to [email protected] with the subject line of "SketchUp Competition". Please do not inscribe your name on your images. Competitors must send the images (maximum of 3) of their original SketchUp model to the above Email address on or before 31st August. The overall winner will receive a V-Ray for SketchUp License with the added honor of being featured on our magazine front cover page... and remember it is an international competition, so prepare well...
Judging Criteria
•Artistry and modelling skill 30% (involves technicalities .. rendering, use of SketchUp and presentation)
•Usage of SketchUp 20%, (includes the modelling process involved in creating the scene.. less on using pre-made models)
•Creativity and response to the theme 30% (how creative they are in responding to the competition theme "Sketch Up Ur Space")
•Overall Impact 20% (the holistic effect of the image.. the image gives you a lasting impression. Is it unforgettable? Does it create impact when you see it?)
