I am set on finding my internship for this summer in London.
I'm a graduate student and need to fulfill the internship this year.
Although I attend school in Arizona, I will have a temporary work visa.
Does anyone have suggestions in getting a firm's attention?
I've found it difficult to obtain responses.

They are pretty slack here. You will need to be VERY persitant. There is lots of work around but you have to be very pro-active. You could try some of the recruitment agencies which deal with architects or even the RIBA website has a few intern (part I) placings.
A word of warning: save your pennies. this is an expensive town.
