Hey y’all! I’m trying to pick a grad school and I’m between the University of Washington and UC Berkeley.
It’s a 2 year program at UW and it’s a 3 year program at UC Berkeley.
The cost between the two is pretty much a wash. Berkeley is offering me a year free and then in-state and then UW is also offering me in-state.
From rankings, Berkeley is definitely better than UW, and I’m also more interested in living in San Francisco than in Seattle. However, I know that rankings aren’t everything so I just want to know about the programs.
I’m interested in affordable housing, real estate development, parametric design, creating walkable designs, and sustainable materials. Any info or advice would be very welcome!! Thanks!

Second, rankings don't mean shit. Pick the school that will cost you the least.
