U Michigan or UIUC for M.Arch
Should I choose UIUC or UMich- Ann Arbor for Master of Architecture? Which university would provide me with better job opportunities after my master's.
I have received acceptance from U Michigan and waiting for the decision from UIUC.
U Mich has more clout if that's your thing, rankings, name recognition and whatnot. Though the degree to which any of that maters is pretty debatable, especially if it's not Harvard, Yale, or MIT.
What's probably more important is other reasons you may want to go. Does one have programs facilities or class sizes you prefer? Location you prefer? If you want to stay local to the schools after you graduate for a job, that would suggest one or the other.
And probably the biggest question, is there a substantial price difference, that should clear things up right quick.
