I’ll be applying for Masters in architecture in Europe (specifically Milan, Brussels, Frankfurt, Rome and Warsaw). I wanted to know that can I work part time as an intern while studying and what stipend do they offer?
Also if I take work visa after Masters then what is the start salary?
Former masters student from Milan here. For Italy do not expect to make any living out of the job when studying, they rarely offer any decent stipend. And keep in mind the chances to even find one really really hard.
After the grad the max. I have heard was around 600 euros per month, since they have smt like internship or trial period after grad. In Milan, it is almost like the 3/4 of the minimum rent of a 30 sqm apartment. But of course its for a time period, I'm sure that elevates, but nothing too dramatic.

Starting salary in Europe
hello everyone,
I’ll be applying for Masters in architecture in Europe (specifically Milan, Brussels, Frankfurt, Rome and Warsaw). I wanted to know that can I work part time as an intern while studying and what stipend do they offer?
Also if I take work visa after Masters then what is the start salary?
Thank you for your response.
Stipend is anywhere from 300-900 euro. Minimum wage in NL is around 1500. Salaries are agreed by the CAO: https://www.sfa-architecten.nl...
for example...
Thank you.
So as an intern working part time, how much stipend/salary should I expect?
Why even bother with such extremely low stipends? Have some respect for yourself and don’t work for degrading compensation.
in Europe this stipend is subsidized by things like Erasmus - so mentioned above is only the direct contribution from the employer https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/opportunities/individuals/students/traineeship-student
