middle eastern city wall building method
hi everyone,
i am looking for clues on a certain building practice of the ancient middle/ near eastern region in which living houses were integral to the city wall. i remember it being mentioned in architecture seminars but cannot recall any further details on that topic.
is there a distinct term for that kind of element?
