Well, we are if you use MS Teams or indeed one note. 

When you create a Team or channel in MS teams you are in fact creating a site in Sharepoint. Which is actually quite cool. This allows you further collaborative resources such as MS planner and shared files. Some solution providers have taken this further, CMAP the AEC focused Project management system allows you to automatically create an MS Teams channel when you create a project. Furthermore with the use of Automatic folder templates your documents stored in CMAP actually reside and can be accessed on your Sharepoint site. Any changes affect CMAP, Teams and Sharepoint. 

So where does it leave us, well with most firms using Office 365, the move towards Sharepoint is becoming inevitable. But with innovative integrations, it may be worthwhile.
