Electronic File Release Form for BIM360 project

Entasis79

We are quickly moving into the BIM360 world and realize our electronic file release form may no longer cover us enough, now that our model will be synced up with many other consultants, potentially live synced.

Has anyone found a better file release form, or method, for dealing with a world in which our models are so exposed to so many people??

I know. It seems to be a slippery slope. We have a fabricator basically telling us he wants to build from the model...huge red flag.

You may want to start by looking at the AIA forms for BIM projects.  They have an exhibit that is meant to be attached to the standard A201.   https://www.aiacontracts.org/c... If nothing else, it'll give you an idea of what AIA has put together to address liability for BIM models.
