i'm new in this forum and i'm currently a university student. I was wandering if someone could suggest me where i could find some really good Cad Blocks (furniture, tree, people...). I'm willing to pay if necessary.
I can draw theme myself, but i would like to have different version of the drawing (like trees usually are the same in my drawings because i never have time for drawing different type of the same tree).
You have the time, there is always time. Have some pride in your work and draw them up yourself that way no one else will have the same images. image trace to .dwg file in illustrator should get you most of the way there if you start with clean images.

students should be spending as much time as possible developing and refining the designs of their projects. it is horrible advice to suggest that some of that time should be set aside to create unique entourage.

I strongly disagree. Attention to context is important and is part of the design since entourage conveys design intention. If a student can't spare 30mins to make a few nice tree blocks then they are a lousy student.

where to start with this ignorant bullshit.
first off. context is not part of the design, it informs the design. to say otherwise is to suggest that context is editable, which it almost universally is not.
second, figures of "furniture, trees, people..." are not context. they help to understand scale and 3D space in 2D drawings, and downloaded cad blocks fulfill that purpose exactly as well as uniquely created ones.
whether or not a student can "spare 30 minutes" is a painfully superficial and brainless way of judging a student's ability, and any instructor that has this expectation is a lousy educator.
enjoy crafting your predictably dipshit attempt at a last word, but i'm done here.
