Human-Centered Design

I am working on my Thesis and I am searching for Information regarding Human-Centered Design in Architecture. Does anyone know any architectural Case-Study or Project or any built example of a human-centered design? Or can anyone suggest any architect that worked around the issue?
I would be very grateful if you could help me with any information.

I keep hearing this stupid term tossed around. I think the term is typically used in industrial design, systems oriented design and engineering. Since when was architecture not human centered?

Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man (1490) would be a good place to start. It is based on Roman architect Vitruvius' concept that the human figure is the principal source of proportion among the classical orders of architecture.

hotel brands have entire departments focused on developing standards for design based on typical types of users. large scale suburban home builders eg pulte do this too. these situations focused on designing prototypes of living / sleeping space based around typical categories of occupants would probably offer a lot to study. there aren't many books on this - go for primary sources and call up some of these businesses, explain your interest. people can get jobs based on this kind of research if it's sufficiently well done.

I also think it originated with industrial design but recently understand the use of the term in a more 'phenomenological' way.
Sincerely though, I would immediately read 'Are We Human?' by Wigley and Colomina. They touch on this subject in an interesting and critical way. Additionally, I would recommend 'Welcome To Your World' by Sarah Williams Goldhagen. The latter references multiple works / architects that address 'human centered' design specifically.

Look into Public Interest Design and SEED Network. Also, Rural Studio and Sambo Mockbee.
Check out the Social Life of Small Urban spaces, by Whyte. Maybe you can recreate some of the observations to see if technology has changed human behavior, although right now the pandemic is probably skewing those observations.
